STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA SELECTS APPLIED GLOBAL TECHNOLOGIES TO PROVIDE IP VIDEO SERVICES

Rockledge, FL (PRWEB) July 15, 2003 - Applied Global Technologies, a worldwide outsourcer of reliable and worry-free video communication services, announces it will provide managed services and H.323 bridging support to the State of South Carolina. It may be the largest managed services/outsourcing contract ever awarded for IP network video services.

The contract allows AGT to provide services to the states agencies, technical colleges, universities, local and county government, as well as public K-12 public schools and libraries. It potentially impacts more than 350 locations within the state.

The H.323 video conferencing services include Point-to-Point and Multipoint, Gatekeeper Functionality, Gateway to H.320, and Attend/Reservations. AGT is also providing billing services based on usage and flat monthly rate packages.
The term of the agreement is for three years with the potential for up to two (2) one-year extensions.
