Management is made easy by using the Web interface or EliteView Management Software for SNMP-based management. Advanced authentication and encryption security features include WPA, 802.1x authentication, support for FUNK Odyssey and Microsoft RADIUS Server and RADIUS MAC Address Authentication.

The EliteConnect 2.4GHz/5GHz Universal Wireless CardBus adapter lets Enterprise laptop users take advantage of true mobile computing-in the conference room, at the desk, or via hotspots. Addressing the Enterprises needs for security, range, and performance as well as flexibility, the SMC2536W-AG supports the major wireless standards with its ability to connect to 802.11a, 802.11g or 802.11b wireless Access Points.

The EZ Installation Wizard, support for multiple profiles and access-point detecting site survey software make this Universal CardBus adapter easy to set-up and use. Providing configurable high output power and the high level of security that Enterprises demand, the SMC2536W-AG supports Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) and 64/128-bit/152-bit WEP encryption; as well as 802.1x, EAP-MD5, EAP-TLS, EAP-TTLS, EAP-PEAP and LEAP for user authentication, to ensure that only authorized users can access the resources of the wireless network.
