Zoomer Guide Salutes New York City Film and T.V. Locations
Visit locations from Seinfeld," Two Weeks Notice," Breakfast at Tiffanys," and more
NEW YORK, July 1, 2003...The most comprehensive guide for New York City film and television locations has just been updated to include even more memorable screen spots. To make the Zoomer Guide to NYCs Most Famous T.V. & Movie Locations more current, weve added several locations from recent films like City by the Sea," Maid in Manhattan," Sweet Home Alabama," and Igby Goes Down." A special section has also been devoted to the films of New York City directing legends Woody Allen (Annie Hall"), Spike Lee (25th Hour"), and Martin Scorcese (Taxi Driver").
This handy guide pinpoints the actual locations of popular films and television shows. Using this guide, people can visit the nightclubs frequented by the Sex and the City" girls, stop by the Ghostbusters" headquarters, and see locations from the hit Spiderman" franchise.
The Zoomer Guide features over 200 locations, each with a brief description of the scene that took place there. A detailed street map is also enclosed, making it easy to plan your tour. Each listing corresponds to a numbered marker on the map, with information on which subway lines to take.
Supporting the NYC film industry
Zoomer Guide is working to promote film and television production in New York City. We are proud to have had our location maps distributed at both the 2002 and 2003 Tribeca Film Festivals, and work closely with tour guides to emphasize the importance of this aspect of New York City culture.
