Western Australia Police adopt powerful new tool in the hunt for Missing Persons

Western Australia Police Service Missing Person Investigation Unit have taken the welcome step to include Global Community Alerts in their loop. GCA is a free to use facility for officers.

Officers can use Word to create a wanted flyer or visit a free partner resource and create a missing person flyer online and instantly then email it to this unique UK based international Missing/Abducted and Wanted Persons Alert facility. GCA then set their end in motion and minutes later the Alert is winging its way webwide!

GCA has been in 24/7/365 operation since August 2002, distributes All US and Canadian Amber (Child Rescue) Alerts by means of a free website plugin which webmasters can add to their pages and displays current appeal images/headlines with links to online flyers.

Each Flyer has the ability to forward the alert to your friends anywhere in the world by email -or free sms.

Internationally, GCA has a daily bulletin which is received by over 190 million subscribers each month which may also be employed if requested.

Individuals, companies and organisations can join the likes of AOL, McDonalds etc and, again through GCA's partner, get free Child Rescue alerts locally to their area by email.

But thats not all GCA do. GCA have recently announced that they now have the ability to build local sms text messaging groups in 122 countries around the globe. This means that an officer can control the targetting of their activated alerts. GCA are now appealing for sms/email subscribers and webmasters across Australia.
