FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

PROVIDENCE-OTISGROVE:
Boston based Otis Grove will be hitting the stage at AS220 in Providence, RI on August 14th. The quartet, which is made up of Sam Gilman on B-3 Organ, Chris Brown on guitar, Matt Fitz-Henry on bass, and Blake Geodde on drums bring a unique sound and experience with them. Their music, which began as an experiment in mixing the jazz tradition with funk and Hip-Hop rhythms, has sparked quite an interest from the New England music scene. The band, which met while studying jazz performance at Berklee College of Music in Boston, has begun to tour regionally and is working on their first full length CD. Through soulful melodies and infectious grooves Otis Groves music seems to set itself apart from the monotony of the jam band scene." Leaving critics only able to refer to it as New Vintage." For more information on the show or for directions visit www.as220.org.
