(PRWEB) July 19, 2003 -- Ethereal Technologies, a 4-Dimensional imaging company recently moved its headquarters to Camden, New Jersey, to be housed in ACIN, the Camden based incubator for defense related technologies. Supported by U.S. Congressman Rob Andrews to encourage defense related technology companies to re-locate to Camden, the partners involved in the ACIN incubator include CECOM (U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command), Drexel University and Sarnoff Corporation.

The ACIN incubator represents an ideal environment for our company to gain greater exposure to Homeland Security, military and defense-related initiatives, where our 4D product set has proven, high value" said Linda Yu, President and CEO of Ethereal Technologies. Being within ACIN helps keep us connected to where the action is. As a small company, exposure to strategic opportunities is important to our success".

Ethereal is a leading hardware and software developer of 4D visualization technologies that create high quality images that can be viewed without the need for special glasses, optical aids, or special lighting conditions. In Ethereals imaging systems, volumetric" images - - images with full height, width and depth characteristics appear to float" over the viewers desk in virtual object form within space.

We are thrilled that companies like Ethereal Technologies are finding value in our focused approach to expanding New Jersey and Camdens involvement in defense and Homeland Security initiatives", said Lou Bucelli, ACINs Director. We feel it helps increases synergy to have entrepreneurial companies co-located where there are common goals from an application and business perspective".

Ethereal has worked extensively in military defense and surveillance applications with U.S. Army Tank Command and also with the U.S. Navy in 3D surveillance and visualization applications, including night vision.

3D surveillance applications are relevant in addressing the challenges the U.S. Military and the U.S. Government face in the continuing threat of terrorism at home and abroad", said Joseph Brady, Director of Business Development for U.S. Army CECOM, based in Ft. Monmouth, New Jersey. For us, the ACIN incubator is a means of expanding the base of best possible solutions to maintain our commitment to keeping our troops and our civilians safe, at home and abroad".
