Its goal is to promote the accelerated adoption of edge of the network" technologies and applications with potential customers and as a part of integrated service offerings. From a policy perspective the goal is to extend the availability of the network broadband IP applications by supporting policies that encourage deployment of IP-based technologies. Furthermore Innovation At-The-Edge strives to add to the value of edge of the network broadband IP applications by urging the government to maintain a hands-off" approach to regulating the Internet and IP-based applications such as Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP).
