Lunch of Laughter to Benefit The Alzheimers Association
The Lunch Of Laughter" will be held on Thursday, July 24th from 12:00 pm -- 2:00 pm at The Improv Comedy Club and Dinner Theatre, City Place. Derek Richards is the featured comic. All proceeds from this event will go to the Alzheimers Association of Southeast Florida.
West Palm Beach, FL (PRWEB) July 20, 2003 -- The Lunch Of Laughter" will be held on Thursday, July 24th from 12:00 pm -- 2:00 pm at The Improv Comedy Club and Dinner Theatre, City Place. Derek Richards has shared the stage with Damon Wayans, Bobcat Goldwaith and John Pinette and we are privileged to have Derek as the featured comic. All proceeds from this event will go to the Alzheimers Association of Southeast Florida.
The Lunch of Laughter or LOL is opened to the general public. All tickets are $25 and can be purchased in advanced. Group sales of 15 or more and Seniors 55 and over receive $5 off each ticket. Tickets can be bought by credit card by calling ElderCare at Home at 561-471-3122 or Encore Senior Village at 561-434-0434. Seating is limited, however, tickets can be purchased at the Improv the day of the show.
The Lunch of Laughter is proudly presented by Encore Senior Village, an Assisted Living Community specializing in Alzheimers care, and ElderCare at Home, a licensed nurse registry and geriatric care management company. The LOL has also been made possible by generous donations from Dependable Medical Supply, HouseCall Home Health, The Improv Regions Bank, The Plaza at Boynton Beach and Vitas Hospice.
This event promises to be an afternoon full of laughter and good food. It is also a great opportunity to show support for The Alzheimers Association of Southeast Florida and the 150,000 patients, families and caregivers is serves.
The Alzheimers Association of Southeast Florida has been serving local patients and caregivers since 1985. Its services include the Safe Return Program, support groups, resource libraries, adult day care, state certified training, community educational opportunities and soon to be available round-the-clock contact center staffed by clinical professionals.
