OBOIST DIANA OWENS TO APPEAR IN CONCERT IN PROVIDENCE
Oboist Diana Owens will appear in concert on Saturday, August 9, 2003, at 8 pm at the First Unitarian Church of Providence, Benefit and Benevolent Streets, in Providence, RI. The concert is sponsored by the Visual and Performing Arts Committee at First Unitarian Church, and is free and open to the public.
Oboist Diana Owens will appear in concert on Saturday, August 9, 2003, at 8 pm at the First Unitarian Church of Providence, Benefit and Benevolent Streets, in Providence, RI. The concert is sponsored by the Visual and Performing Arts Committee at First Unitarian Church, and is free and open to the public.
Ms Owens will perform G. F. Telemanns Fantasy, Oboe Concerto by Ralph Vaughan Williams, and Cinq Pieces pour le Hautbois by Antal Dorati. She will be accompanied by pianist Philip Martorella. She has previously performed at the Sarasota Music Festival, the Colorado College Summer Music Festival, the Boston University Tanglewood Institute, Young Artist Wind Ensemble & Orchestra, and the Greater Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra.
