Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) July 21, 2003 Is Elvis still alive? The new novel Jesse tells a fictional account of how Elvis Presley faked his death and details his life after going underground in search of inner peace. The path is not an easy one as he battles personal demons, drug addiction and a ruthless FBI agent who knows the truth. Taking the identity of Jesse Presley, his twin brother who died at birth, Elvis begins a journey through America, encountering adventure, danger and romance all leading to a government conspiracy that changed the world.

Though Jesse is a work of fiction, I tried to corroborate it with as many facts and personal accounts as possible and present Elvis Presley as the complex person that he was, warts and all," says the author, Brian DeVall.

Jesse is published by Aventine Press and is available on-line at www.elvisisjesse.com.
