MARTIAL ARTIST GIVEN HOLLYWOOD OPPORTUNITY
July 18, 2003, It was announced today that during one of the largest martial arts gatherings in the nation, Martial Artist and Hollywood hopefuls will be given an opportunity to star in one of several feature films that will be directed by world renowned martial artist, director and action/fight scene choreographer Art Camacho.
Art Camacho has directed such movies as Gangland, Final Payback, Little Big foot 1 & 2 and was the action/fight choreography for such films as Half Past Dead with Ja Rule and Steven Segal. He has worked with such martial arts stars as Cynthia Rothrock, Benny The Jet" Urquidez, Michael Dudikoff, Don The Dragon" Wilson and Gary Daniels.
Also as a part of this unique opportunity some of the fortunate martial artist that get their Hollywood break will also have the opportunity to receive a free weekend at the world famous Michael DePasquale's fight action camp. This is the same Michael DePasquale Jr. that has been a leader in the martial arts community since he was voted Martial Arts Star of the Year" in 1977 by the Official Karate Magazine" at the age of 24.
All martial artist that attend the STARBASH" convention being held at the Stardust Hotel and Casino will have the rare opportunity to get their big break in Hollywood.
The convention will kick off on July 25, 2003 and will top it all off with a whos who in martial arts luncheon to honor famed martial artist such as Cecil Peoples, Bill Ryusaki, Donnie Williams, Howard Jackson, Kathy Long, Lilly Rodriguez and Joe Lewis, they will all be inducted into the Official Martial Arts History Museums" Hall of Fame which is brought to you by Michael Matsuda.
