Port Magee Options Film Rights to Fallen Idol Book
Port Magee Pictures has negotiated the film rights to the controversial novel My Fractured Life" by actor Rikki Lee Travolta.
Port Magee Pictures has optioned the film rights for the novel My Fractured Life" by Rikki Lee Travolta. Detailing the fall of a former star, the novel has been favorably compared to Carrie Fishers Postcards from the Edge" for its honest look at the temptations of fame.
Port Magee pictures produced the 2002 television series Santiara." Port Magee principals Dan Riley and Peter J. Clark share individual credits on The Original Kings of Comedy," Superstar," The Wood," and The Core."
Travolta was represented by manager Drake Miezel of Prime Time Entertainment and Chicago-based entertainment attorney Steven Walanka.
On Tuesday, July 22, it was announced that Ingram Book Group will serve as the primary distributor of the Travolta novel.
Ingram maintains inventory on an estimated 650,000 titles, with additional access to materials representing thousands of publishers and imprints.
Ingram Library Services maintains a National Book Clubs Standing Order Program that supplies selections of the Today Show's "Today Book Club," Good Morning America's "Read This!" program, the USA Today Book Club, and the "Reading with Ripa" light fiction program of Live with Regis and Kelly.
