Most artists try to think outside the box but for Suzanna Anna it was the outside of the box that started her thinking. Using a wooden box as her canvas and an eye popping color scheme as her palette, Suzanna has married her love of art to her love of retro styles and fashions, giving a bold rebirth to the box bag. Suzanna's designs range from funky 60's inspired graphics, adorable characters immersed in various cityscapes to her whimsical fish tank bag. Each bag is unique yet still easily identifiable as a Suzanna Anna creation.

Suzanna's bags are not only unique in their colorful motifs; they are limited edition one of a kind works of art. Because they are hand painted, no two are exactly alike. The designs are repeated in limited quantities from 50 to 100. Each is titled, signed, numbered and dated on the bottom.

There is at least one matching necklace, dated and signed on the back to compliment each bag. The matching pendant hangs on a long black suede cord which can be cut to your desired length or worn wrapped around the neck multiple times. The necklaces, like the bags, are hand painted with acrylic paint on wood and covered with glossy varnish.

Founded in 2003. With a background in web site creation and computer graphics, Suzanna Anna has turned her artistic skills to the fashion world. Suzanna was born and raised in New York City and after moving to the suburbs of Milwaukee a few years ago discovered the art of rummage sale shopping, this proved to be very inspiring. "It all started when I found a 1960's Enid Collins Box Bag at a rummage sale. I thought 'Wow, what I could do with a blank wooden box.'
