In this role, Mr. Tran will develop and implement the GMI Task Management System (TMS), a comprehensive on-line project tracking system solution that will include a knowledge-based plan review and inspection guide. Mr. Tran will also assist with support and maintenance of GMI Texas Energy Code (www.texasenergycode.com) and the new Energy Code Plus Program, an on-line energy plan review and inspection compliance reporting system. In addition, his wealth of knowledge and experience with the International Building and Energy Code will be invaluable as we expand our commercial code consulting and AIA approved training services.

Mr. Tran joins GMI where he was Vice President of Technical Service at SSTL CODES, Inc., providing training workshops covering the International Building and Energy Codes, and assisting design professionals with many code challenges. Prior to SSTL CODES, Inc., Mr. Tran served much of his accomplished career as an Assistant Building Official of the City of Plano. In his private and public experience, he has played a role in providing plan review, inspection, and code consulting services to many multi-million dollar projects of all major building types.
