Lakes Software announces the availability of SAAVOR 2.0, an email client and anti-spam filtering software that will keep your inbox free of spam.

SAAVOR is a complete email client that will keep all of your spam out of your inbox. It will check all emails from any unknown user to see if that email is spam or not.

SAAVOR uses a different but powerful approach to filtering out Spam. A lot of Spam filtering packages out there use keyword filtrations that can be inaccurate and difficult. Keyword filtration can cause wanted email to be treated as Spam. SAAVOR uses a bouncing approach. When SAAVOR receives an email from an unknown user, it will reply to that user to see if they really exist or not. Most of the time people who send spam use a fake email address, so they will never get the reply message from SAAVOR. Even if they do, they are not going to reply because it is too time consuming. Known users will never get their email bounced because SAAVOR will keep track of all that for you.

SAAVOR is an email client that works similar to Microsoft Outlook except that SAAVOR also does spam filtering. You can send and receive emails, import your addresses from other email clients, setup an unlimited number of email accounts and much more. SAAVOR is compatible with Windows 95/98/NT/2000/ME/XP.

A fully functional demo is available to the public at http://www.LakesSoftware.com/saavor/saavor.htm. Program registration is only US$20.00, and may be completed from the company's web site.
