ZIPPERS RED GIVES NEW MEANING TO THE WORD 'MALTERNATIVE'

BPNC, Inc. releases new malternative with a sweet taste of Sangria.

Toledo, OH (PRWEB) July 25, 2003 -- BPNC, Inc., founded in 1998 by Brian Pearson and Nick Costanzo (whose initials represent the company name), has released Zippers Red: The best tasting malt beverage yet.

Zippers Red® (Z-Red), the third member of BPNC, Inc.s Zippers® family, is the newest malternative to hit the market. Z-Red is the only red malt beverage that gives a crisp, invigorating taste that parallels Sangria. For the unfamiliar, sangria is a cold drink made of red or white wine mixed with brandy, sugar, fruit juice, and soda water. Zippers red could be the first malt beverage enjoyed by all alcohol consumers.

Weve differentiated ourselves from other malternatives by straying away from the liquor based, fruit only flavored drinks to instead offer a flavor that resembles a sweet wine called sangria" said David Sheridan of BPNC, Inc.

Zippers Red has begun its nationwide launch by piggy-backing its predecessors Zippers Original® and Zippers Cocktails®, both of which are pre-packaged gelatin shots. Currently Zippers Red is available in cases consisting of 24 loose long-neck bottles and 6-packs. Z-Red is 5.5% alc./vol. and 12 fl oz. with a suggested retail of $6.99 per 6-pack.
