CollectionWorks International announces its significant customer installation in the Middle East. This relfects the growth of credit and debt in the consumer market in the Middle East and South Asia market.
(PRWEB) July 26, 2003 -- CollectionWorks International, Inc. (CWI), a leading global provider of solutions for the credit and receivables management industry, announces the recent major implementation of its CW eXchequer (CWX) software solution at the Standard Chartered Bank in Dubai, UAE.
Standard Chartered Bank (SCB), one of the leading international banks in the Middle East and South Asia region (MESA), is the regional headquarters for SCBs credit and collections activity in that part of the world. This successful Dubai installation of CWIs flagship product (of its X factor series of products and services) happens to be the initial implementation within this SCB group in the Asia Pacific market. The MESA group encompasses eight (8) countries.
We researched many options prior to our selection of CWI in order to find the ideal value proposition in the market that could still meet our high standards and stringent requirements," stated Tony Morgan, SCB MESAs Regional Head of Credit Risk, Consumer Banking, MESA. Morgan adds, We selected CW eXchequer because we believe it provides us the latest in flexibility and technology for years to come, in addition to a quick and reasonable implementation timeframe that allows us to see an expedited ROI".
We are pleased with how smooth and timely the implementation of the SCB project went for SCB and CWI, said David Larkworthy, CEO of CollectionWorks International. Our integration partnership with SakSoft Ltd. of Chennai, India (www.saksoft.com) was a shining example of teamwork in getting CWX integrated into SCBs numerous back-office data feeds coming from multiple credit card, lease and loan accounting systems. It was truly a pleasure to work through the project with such dedicated professionals from all parties involved," noted Larkworthy.
With a client base including other marquee financial institutions such as ABN AMRO, EnTie Bank, Jamaica National Building Society, Union Bank-Pakistan as well as telecom giants such as Hutchison and KG Telecom, CWI has quickly become a leading provider of choice to the global credit provider marketplace. Larkworthy says, The final sign-off of this SCB -- MESA sale is indicative of the size, scope and quality of clients that we are attracting and capable of handling with our technology and consulting solutions. This is also the beginning of what we hope is a long lasting and value-based relationship with Standard Chartered Bank worldwide."
