NEW E-BOOK PROMOTES DEFORESTATION, HABITAT DESTRUCTION
When Savannah Lawless uncovered the environmentalist plot to put the liquor industry out of business, she took action. Proceeds from the sale of her new e-book will help fund her efforts to convert wetlands and old-growth forest into tillable acreage for the production of wheat, barley, hops and corn.
PERALTA, NM (PRWEB) July 27, 2003 -- Popular internet advice columnist Savannah Lawless has launched an initiative to reclaim protected wetlands for crop production in order to halt the efforts of environmentalists to destroy the liquor industry.
"Our goal is to drain at least one swamp or chainsaw an old-growth forest for crop production," Lawless said. "These so-called protected lands could be put to use producing wheat, barley, hops and corn--in short the crops that produce the finest alcoholic beverages in the world. The idea of 'sustainable ecology' is fine, but a 'sustainable relationship' is more important, and we all know THAT is impossible with liquor and lots of it."
A limited version of Lawless's e-book, "From Swinging on the Chandelier Champagne to Crying in Your Beer Beer: Savannah's Cocktail Guide to All Relationship Occasions," is available as a free download at her Web site: http://www.savannahsays.com/fund.htm .
Along with sage advice, the book offers 50 cocktail recipes to help individuals negotiate the five main relationship stages: First Love's New Blush, The Honeymoon Era, The Peevish Period, The Felonious Phase, and New Beginnings. "The Peevish Period," for example, is that stage when the bloom is fading from the relationship, and includes such recipes as the Kamikaze (intended for those times "when the mere scent of her sickly sweet perfume drives you to thoughts of suicide") and the Mudslide (because "eventually, all relationships turn messy and head downhill fast").
Proceeds from the sale of the registered version of the book benefit "Savannah's Habitat Devastation Fund." The author hopes to raise at least $50.80 to fund a high-powered lobbying campaign or at least buy a few cases of beer to bribe the local county commissioners.
"I urge everyone who's ever used liquor as a balm to soothe the wounds of an unhappy relationship to support me in my campaign against defenseless waterfowl," Lawless said.
