Chabad on Campus of the St. Louis Region Announces Summer Schedule: Social Events, Spiritual Programming Featured

Chabad on Campus, a Jewish student organization based in St. Louis announced its summer plans last week. Highlights to include social and educational events.

Chabad on Campus of the St. Louis Region announced its summer plans last week. Highlights of to this summers programming include BBQs, Cardinals games, and a July 4th celebration. Other programs include ongoing Torah classes, a Shabbaton, and special holiday presentations.

I feel that summer is an effective time to engage college-age students." Said Rabbi Hershey Novack director and spiritual leader of Chabad on Campus, There are fewer academic stresses on students mind. Summer can be a real 'soul boosting experience."

Novack plans to visit Boston and New York City in hopes of meeting many St. Louis region students on their 'home turf, and in turn, introducing them to vibrant Jewish communities back home," said Rabbi Novack, what we are doing is building bridges between students and the St. Louis community, and between students and their home communities."
