GREENVILLE, SC (PRWEB) July 30, 2003 -- TetraData Corporation announced that it has signed an agreement to provide the Alliance of Regional Education Service Centers (RESCs) in Connecticut with its EASE-e Data Analysis Suite of applications. TetraData will also construct a statewide data warehouse, and supply RESC staff with a full range of applications training to provide professional development to participating districts and staff. At last count, the agreement included 49 districts and over 140,000 students across Connecticut, with the possibility of more being added.

The RESC Alliance has been serving the educational and training needs of schools, organizations, and individuals of all ages in Connecticut for more than thirty years. In their continuing mission to improve the quality of education in school districts, the Alliance found TetraDatas solution to be a strong answer to the challenges of using data to enhance student achievement. Using data to accurately measure and improve student achievement is a cornerstone of President Bush's "No Child Left Behind" Act. The NCLB Act requires student performance data to be disaggregated, highlighting the student populations needing the greatest assistance.

Martin Brutosky, Chairman & CEO of TetraData Corporation, stated, "The RESC Alliance has proven to be a very capable and effective education partner. They are leaders in education and provide the communications, professional development, and technical services that enable TetraDatas Analysis and Data Warehousing tools to be productively used throughout Connecticut. With their partnership, we are jointly servicing 49 districts in the state and expect more schools to join the project in the future."

David Calchera, Executive Director of EASTCONN, stated, "Our initial assessment of TetraData was that their product was user-friendly, their people knowledgeable, and their business dealing flexible. That assessment has been more than amply confirmed. We look forward to a mutually rewarding partnership with TetraData."
