New version of popular PowerPoint® presentation compression utility released
Neuxpower Solutions Ltd (Neuxpower) have today released an updated version of their popular NXPowerLite software. Essential for any Microsoft® PowerPoint® user, NXPowerLite is a small, stand-alone presentation compression utility. It automatically reduces the size of PowerPoint files by optimising the graphics and embedded documents contained within them. It can effortlessly compress presentations by more than 90%, making them easier to handle, distribute and use.
The new version of NXPowerLite (version 1.5) is compatible with PowerPoint 97 and above, running on any version of Windows, from and including Windows 95. A fully functional, free trial is available from www.nxpowerlite.com.
Users simply drag a PowerPoint presentation onto the NXPowerLite icon, choose a compression level and click on the 'Optimise' button. NXPowerLite then searches through the presentation, finding ways to optimise the content. It's fully customisable, allowing users to choose the ideal balance between compression and quality. After
presentations have been compressed, they remain completely editable by anybody with a copy of PowerPoint.
Companies whose employees use PowerPoint regularly can reduce bandwidth costs and ease the load on their corporate communications networks. Compressed PowerPoint presentations make the lowest possible bandwidth demands and help diminish the problems associated with storing and transferring large files, saving both time and money.
Organisations currently using NXPowerLite to optimise their PowerPoint presentations include Chanel, Diageo, Disney, Dupont, Hewlett Packard, Hilton, Nike, Pepsi, Unilever and Virgin.
To celebrate the launch of NXPowerLite 1.5, Neuxpower have teamed up with Nerdy Books (www.nerdybooks.com) to give away copies of their 'Just the Tips, Man eBook, which is full of PowerPoint tips, tricks and shortcuts. Everybody who downloads the free trial version of NXPowerLite will be entered into a prize draw to win the eBook, with a winner chosen at random each month.
