Economic Realities of Ethnicity Global People Skills Crucial to Business Success

Atlanta Conference addresses important issues of globalized business and the challenges of working cross-border and cross-culture - at home and abroad.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) August 1, 2003 -- The third annual executive level Global People Skills Conference, to be held October 28 and 29, 2003 at the Georgia Centers for Advanced Telecommunications Technology (GCATT), will address the issue of todays international business environment.

Companies need to get a grip on the economic realities of ethnicity in the selling/marketing process and in the ranks of their organizations in order to improve bottom line profits. Global people skills are crucial to uniting ethnicities toward organizational goals.

Astrid Pregel, retiring Consul General from Canada who has worked extensively around the world, will speak on the Interdependency of the World Marketplace. Susan Davidson from Beyond Borders, will host a panel on foreign executives and what their thoughts are about doing business with and working with Americans.

Included in the lineup of 21 presenters is Georgia Senator, Sam Zamarripa, Founder and Managing Partner of Diaz-Verson Ventures, LLC, who will speak on the economic strengths of ethnicity, Dr. Jerome Williams of the University of Texas at Austin, speaking on Marketplace Diversity and what it means in the 21st century and Dr. Sevgin Eroglu, who will facilitate a panel discusson on Adjusting to the Economic Implications of Islam".

Communication, cooperation and bottom line profits in the global company is to different degrees affected by culture, religion, race and politics. Organizations must become sensitive to and educated about these factors to sustain profit levels and growth in a worldwide community," states Brandau.
