The event will be called the Heroes of our Youths Sports Symposium and Celebrity Basketball Game" and is scheduled for Sunday March 7 at Florida Atlantic University, in Boca Raton, Florida. The overall purposes of the events are to raise funds for the Boys and Girls Club of Delray Beach as well as educated our youths of the different career opportunities in sports.

The Heroes of our Youths Celebrity Basketball Game will feature stars from the NFL as well as entertainers from the music and film industries. Invited celebrities will include Terrell Owens of the 49ers, Travis Taylor of the Baltimore Ravens, Peerless Price of the Atlanta Falcons, Eric Moulds of the Bills, actress Carmen Electra, actor/comedian Jamie Foxx, rappers Trick and Trina just to name a few.

Most aspiring athletes do not have a back up plan or are not aware of the different career options available to them should they not make it to the professional level. The sports symposium is design to educate our younger generation about the different career opportunities in sports," says Rohan Sutherland, publicist and producer of the event, while the basketball game is designed to allow attendees to interact with their heroes". We also intend to bring much needed attention to the boys and girls club in Delray Beach which is in need of renovations and additional staffing". The sports symposium will take place the morning of the game and will feature a panel discussion of sports, entertainment and media stars. Over the last two years, Genesis Marketing and Promotions, LLC has work with various NFL athletes and entertainers, providing public relations, marketing, and event production services benefiting charity organizations.
