(PRWEB) August 3, 2003 -- This is the only complete guide to Bollinger Bands on DVD from the man who created them.

John Bollinger says, While books are a great way to acquire knowledge, it is often easier to absorb knowledge when it is personally presented. The seminar format provides clear, easy to understand explanations of the concepts presented in my book, plus some additional material."

Each volume includes a book that features all the charts and formulas, plus a DVD with over four hours of presentations. Each DVD also includes an Excel spreadsheet that presents a simple implementation of the formulas and concepts presented in that volume. Combined, the two-volume set features more than nine hours of teaching.

DVD I -- The Essentials starts from the beginning. John Bollinger covers everything from the basics of technical analysis through Bollinger Band construction. He teaches pattern recognition and how to set up charts for successful trading. The highlight is how to trade a very powerful Bollinger Band pattern--The Squeeze--including how to handle Head Fakes and how to profit from Walking the Bands".

DVD II - Advanced Topics carries the process to its logical conclusion, rigorous trading systems based on Bollinger bands. Two trading systems are presented, one based on reversals and one based on trend continuations. Also covered are which indicators to use for confirmation and volume indicators, including open and closed forms. To protect your gains and minimize losses, John Bollinger teaches how to use Chandelier and Parabolic stops. He also covers how to utilize these techniques for day trading. And for the first time he explains how to use Bollinger Boxes as a filtering system.

Of special interest to software users, John Bollinger includes how to program the trading systems presented into MetaStock and TradeStation.
