Book Signing at Reading Etc., City Place To Benefit Local Charity Author donates all proceeds to Brain Injury Association of Florida

West Palm Beach, FL (PRWEB) August 6, 2003 -- Jupiter's "Poet Laureate," a.k.a. personal injury attorney Wallace McCall, and Jorge Garcia, general manager of Reading Etc. at City Place, are pleased to announce a book signing to benefit the Brain Injury Association of Florida (BIAF). The event is scheduled for September 6th from 1-4pm at Reading Etc., a store dedicated to providing essentials for book lovers: fine stationary, pens, books, writing desks, Etc., in a decor inspired by Egyptian Culture and architecture.

Mr. McCall, who has served on the BIAF advisory board since 1985, will be signing copies of his book, Armadillo Armageddon and Other Collected Poems, an eighty-five page collection of original poems written by McCall over the course of his lifetime - dating back to his days at Forest Hill High School in W. Palm Beach. "I enjoy writing poetry, and I have a great deal of respect and admiration for the people at the Brain Injury Association of Florida and the work they're doing, so I'm happy to offer any assistance I can," said McCall, who grew up in W. Palm Beach and returned to the area to practice law after attending college in Tennessee and law school in St. Petersburg, Florida. "I appreciate this opportunity, and would like to thank Reading Etc. for all of their help in making this happen," McCall added.

BIAF is a non-profit organization, founded in 1985 by the mother of a young man who sustained a traumatic brain injury from an automobile crash. It is an organization of individuals with brain injuries, their families, and professionals working to help people cope with the long term effects of brain injury.

BIAF is the official state association of the Brain Injury Association (BIA) in Alexandria, VA and as such is tied to a nationwide network. The organization assists individuals with brain injuries, their families and professionals by providing:
