After rebounding from difficult economic times in 2002, NCCGs Chief Financial Officer Diedre Robinson believes that the outlook for the Information Technology industry is optimistic. This is due to the recent upturn in the stock market, and the increase in the number of companies seeking best-of-breed technical services.

Sacramento is a major candidate for growing high-tech companies based upon its resilience during this economic slowdown," says Robinson.

Currently, Sacramento is one of the nations top 20 economic performers according to the Milken Institute, a nonprofit business research group based in Santa Monica. The Milken Institute also surveyed 200 metro areas, giving Sacramento a rank of No. 15, which is an increase of three positions from 2002. This ranking is based on growth in jobs, wages and salaries.

While San Francisco and San Jose suffered in last years technology slump, Sacramento was able to remain less affected. For example, in May, Sacramento was one of only three metropolitan cities in California to increase the number of jobs. Because of this, Sacramento and the Central Valley are attracting many other high-tech firms including Intel Corp. and Hewlett-Packard.

NCCGs expansion into the Central Valley will further advance their goal of offering more technical solutions to a wider range of businesses and industries in Northern California.
