New Logic and Puzzle game for Windows PCs
This game is an innovative take on a classic logic and puzzle game genre.
New shareware games company, New Delta Games have released their first title, "Sliders". The game is played on a puzzle board with many tiles of varying colour and style, where players must attempt to match tiles together by colour or function to remove them. Once removed, they are replaced by two more random tiles. On each level, you must attempt to move two tiles, a special lock and key combination, together to complete the level. This is made all the more difficult because every time you move a tile, you lose some of your "movement allowance", and should you run out of allowance, it's game over. The only way to increase the allowance is to match tiles together.
Sliders has a theoretically infinite number of levels, but new dangers and problems arise with each level, so only divine intervention would allow you to play forever.
The game includes a comprehensive help file complete with tips and information to get you started.
Sliders runs under Windows 95/98/Me/XP but requires and OpenGL compatible graphics card. Supported resolutions of 640x480 and 800x600. The trial version is available for download at http://www.newdeltagames.co.uk/sliders.htm along with information and screenshots.
