San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) August 7, 2003 -- PyX Technologies Inc, the leading developer of client and server software for iSCSI enabled storage, today announced an OEM partnership with ASA Computers Inc (Santa Clara) to ship PyX iSCSI software with ASA's 2U, 4U, and 5U IDE RAID Servers. The only iSCSI protocol software that meets-and-exceeds the IETF standard for Error Recovery Level Two (ERL2) with full Sync and Steering, PyX iSCSI software gives ASA's servers the availability and multi-path migration error recovery currently found only in expensive Fibre Channel storage architects.

Users of PyX iSCSI enabled ASA servers can automatically recover failed segments of a transaction while also jumping ahead to the next marker to continue the transaction. This technology enhancement provides native error recovery at near wire speed, something previously unheard of in reasonably priced storage architects.
