"Because The Customer Is Not Always Right"
ChargeBack Bureau To Launch Database That Will Allow Merchants To Fight Against On-line Chargebacks And Fraud
PANAMA CITY, Panama -- August 04, 2003-- A database of negative information about customers who have a history of chargebacks, refunds, or fraudulent orders is being developed by Chargeback Bureau, http://chargebackbureau.org.
The company can also give merchants the location of the IP address from which an order is made so that it can be compared with the billing address. Merchants pay a one-time fee of $6.99 to search the Chargeback Bureau database before finalizing future sales.
If merchants receive a chargeback, they can add the customer to the database along with a short note about the circumstance. Both search and report functions can be integrated into a merchant's ordering system.
Goldwell Corporation, operator of the patented Chargeback Bureau application began its on-line service in September, 2002 and currently collects data from more than 7,500 Web sites. Over 40,000 records are on file. For questions regarding our services please contact Customer Support at 800-601-9616; Email: support@chargebackbureau.org.
