HotelFreePages.com Reinvents the On-line Reservations World and Paves the Way for the Future

Software design company HFP Software Ltd has reinvented the world of on-line reservations with the launch of its new web site www.HotelFreePages.com, which will pave the way for representation of accommodation providers in the future.

(PRWEB) August 8, 2003 -- Software design company HFP Software Ltd has reinvented the world of on-line reservations with the launch of its new web site www.HotelFreePages.com, which will pave the way for representation of accommodation providers in the future.

The site was set up at the end of April although it is only now having its official launch. The fastest growing Internet based hotel directory, it registered over 2000 accommodation providers within the first two weeks of operation. It is currently one of the most attractive, accessible and user friendly sites for booking accommodation on the Internet. Of course, aside from its visual appeal and accessibility, another reason for its monumental success could be the fact that it is FREE! It is free to customers and also for accommodation providers who can register their propertys details along with colour photographs.

Statistics show that between 2000 and 2002 there was a 300% increase in on-line travel sales (PhoCusWright Inc.) and that by 2006 around 18% of all accommodation will be booked on-line with business travel taking up a large proportion of that clearly ever-increasing figure. Today the newest on-line market, are the silver surfers", those people of a certain silver-haired" generation who are realising the benefits of using the Internet for the convenience and also the sheer diversity of booking holidays and shopping from home. Accommodation providers are also realising the necessity of being accessible to these markets but unfortunately, many do not have web sites of their own and they rely on other on-line directories to link them to the Internet market.

With recent complaints by many of the smaller accommodation providers over high booking fees and commission charges that occur as a result of registering with many other on-line accommodation directories, HotelFreePages free registration service will come as a welcome relief.

HFP Software also produces a web-based reservations software package named Hotel Booking Manager", which hotels can link to the HotelFreePages site so that users can check availability and book their room immediately. This software can also be used independently via the accommodation providers own web site. The booking is confirmed instantly at both ends, and the clever part is that accommodation providers dont even require to be on-line themselves as the system can be linked to a fax machine or mobile phone! This makes it ideal for small Bed and Breakfast and Guesthouse providers who operate on a much smaller scale than hotel companies.

A small charge of 10 plus VAT per month is charged for the on-line reservations system and this is not commission based. The fee remains the same whether there are 10 bookings or 100 bookings made.

With such a high number of accommodation providers registering so quickly, it is obvious that HotelFreePages are providing a much needed service for the hospitality industry in this ever-increasing era of eCulture, and at its current rate of growth, this site is well on its way to becoming a global success in the very near future.
