London Hosts Webmasterworld's European Internet Marketing Conference, September 20th 2003

WebmasterWorld.com, the Internet's largest forum system for webmasters and the search engine marketing community, has announced Pubconference V will be held at the famous Cittie of Yorke, 22 High Holborn, London, UK, from 1pm 20th September.

(PRWEB) August 8, 2003 -- WebmasterWorld.com, the Internet's largest forum system for webmasters and the search engine marketing community, has announced Pubconference V will be held at the famous Cittie of Yorke, 22 High Holborn, London, UK, from 1pm 20th September.

More than 300 webmasters and Internet search and marketing experts from around the world will gather to discuss the latest issues, technologies and developments and to meet delegates from the major search services including Google and Yahoo. This is a high productivity conference for webmasters and agencies seeking practical Internet marketing and development solutions.

"It's the third year in a row in London for the European event, following on from our April conference in Boston, USA," says Brett Tabke, WebmasterWorld's owner and conference organiser. "And it's always a very busy and productive time for the many UK and overseas delegates that pack into the conference hall for the networking sessions.

The event will feature representatives and exhibitors from over 20 industry companies. "One of the unique aspects of Pubconference is this opportunity for face-to-face discussions with the major search services, suppliers of technology and, of course, to discuss current issues with Internet specialists and more than 300 of their peers," Brett continued. "It's what makes Pubconference a highly productive networking opportunity. With a conference of this nature we find that there are many hot topics covered and these include search engine alliances, affiliate schemes, online marketing techniques and technology issues and, with an international audience, country-specific search services and cross-border and multi-language business on the Internet. Webmasters are urged to pre-register to avoid disappointment as previous events have all been sold out."

The Cittie of York offers Pubconference V delegates an insight into London's history. Behind the nineteenth century facade, at the end of a passageway, there's a huge room of church-like proportions, which features a gantry above the long bar supporting massive 1000-gallon wine casks. This is the main networking arena providing ample opportunity to mingle, to meet and to do business. There are also mini-booths enabling discreet, one-to-one private meetings.

There are two other rooms: One at the front, neat and wood panelled and the location of the sponsor area. The newly refurbished cellar room is the conference food area and allows for further networking and breakout meetings.

Pubconference IV is supported by search services including Fast, Position Tech, Google and Yahoo!, amongst others, and Searchenginecommando.com and GoToast. As previously, several special guests, including Pandia's Per and Susanne Koch, SearchEngineWatch's Danny Sullivan, and journalists reporting on search services and Internet marketing are expected to attend. Additionally, many of WebmasterWorld's moderators and senior members will be on hand to offer their experienced perspective on the future of the Internet. More than 20 countries will be represented with delegates from Asia, Europe and the USA already confirming attendance.
