Annual Calendar Provides Homeowners with a Seasonal Schedule and Check-off-list of Home Maintenance and Home Safety Measures

Livingston, New Jersey (PRWEB) August, 2003 - Calendar Technologies launches the first fine arts combined with a home maintenance and safety calendar providing homeowners with a complete checklist of important seasonal servicing requirements for preservation, safety and maintenance of their homes.

Robert Simon, a New Jersey contractor since 1980 who specializes in home maintenance, repair and home improvement came up with the concept in response to his clients needs. Many homeowners are unfamiliar with normal home and safety maintenance." says Robert Simon, CEO of Calendar Technologies. Why wait until something breaks down to have it repaired or replaced when often a simple, inexpensive servicing procedure can add years to its life?" Simon adds.

The Home Maintenance Calendar contains over 50 helpful home servicing tips as well as scheduled and unscheduled maintenance items that potentially can save the homeowner thousands of dollars in repairs, replacements, not to mention headaches and hassles. An easy to use guide and check-off list (to keep a permanent record of the completed maintenance) in the back advises the homeowner on 25 recommended maintenance and testing procedures with and their estimated time to complete which averages out to be less than 10 hours a year.

According to the Homebuilders Association, the number of women homebuyers more than doubled in the past dozen years from 57,000 in 1985 to 118,000 in 1997. Not all homeowners want to do their own maintenance or have the time in their busy lives between work and family, but understanding and learning what needs to be serviced is of interest to the average buyer. For many, the purchase of their home will probably be their largest personal investment, maintaining that investment will be very important and keeping repair costs down equally desirous.

I have no interest in cleaning my own heating filters or inspecting my roof but I do want to know what needs servicing and when it should be done. I like taking personal responsibility for my home and feel better not having to depend on a random repair man to guide me" says Ms. Diane Sullivan, a Massage Therapist, and new homeowner in Roxbury Township, NJ. The Home Maintenance Calendar was designed for both the hands-off and the hands-on homeowner.
