DEVIL CAME TO TOASTMASTERS

At the local toastmasters meeting members were surprised when the devil appeared.

(PRWEB) August 9, 2003 -- Ms. Esther Shaw of the New Life Church in Morris, Illinois brought Him with her in her satchel. Ms Shaw was presenting a speech that emphasized the usage of the voice. Personally, for her it was a way to practice a good versus evil lesson for her Sunday school students at New Life Church. In her speech she became a boy, Mike, using a male voice and baseball cap and a girl, Sarah, by using a high-pitched girls voice and a hair bow.

The two children had a dilemma and were problem-solving when suddenly appeared -- the devil. That's right the Devil right in Morris, Illinois and right along with the Devils very own voice. The trusting toastmaster members had faith that the problem would quickly be resolved and the devil would soon disappear. In fact in less than seven minutes, since that's how long the speech was supposed to be.

Ms. Shaw happens to be the newly elected treasurer for the Morris Area Toastmasters Club.

Toastmasters are dedicated to overcoming the fear of speaking, becoming proficient speakers and having a good time. Come and visit the toastmasters group on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at the Morris Hospital 7:00 p.m. Morris, Illinois.
