About the MAXIMUS Work Experience Program

Work Experience is considered training. It is unpaid and considered volunteer work with a public or non-profit agency that provides the participant with work behavior skills, a current reference for future employment, improvement of job skills, or provides a needed community service that leads to employment.

You can help the community by providing work experience opportunities for our motivated participants and help them become valued members of the workforce.

How You Benefit:
Reliable Worker Completing Real Job Tasks
4 days a week, 8 hours per day (for up to 3 months)
Absolutely No Fee
Placement of Appropriate Staff / Applicant Screening
Large Selection of Applicants
On-Going Follow-Up to Guarantee Satisfaction

MAXIMUS will regularly communicate with the on-site supervisor to ensure objectives are being met

Qualifications:

Participating companies/organizations must meet the following criteria:
Legally established as for-profit company or non-profit organization
Has established office space (not home-based)
Has at least one paid employee
Has safe and healthy work environment
Located in Prince Georges County / Washington DC area
Be willing to provide feedback and evaluation to the participant
Be willing to provide solid hands-on experience / meaningful work
