DanceMates is now "DanceMates Educational Arts, NFP". It is now recognized by IRS as Federally Tax-Exempt Not-for-Profit Educational Corporation. Contributions to DanceMates Educational Arts, NFP are now treated as Charitable contributions.

This press release aims to introduce DanceMates Educational Arts, NFP as a newly-founded Tax-Exempt Not-for-Profit Corporation, its history, mission, and background in educating the general public in all global forms of dance including but not limited to ethnic, folk, modern and partner dances and all art forms that directly or indirectly expresses dance. Since 1996, DanceMates Educational Arts, NFP has been educating the general public in the Chicagoland area in all forms of dance including but not limited to ethnic, folk, partner, and modern dances. DanceMates Educational Arts, NFP existing alliance with the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs, Human Relations Foundation of Chicago, YouthNet, Chicago Department of Aging, Truman College, Irving Park YMCA, Gallery 37, Harold Washington College, Latin School of Chicago, and Wright College. Its instructors performed and supported in the following prestigious events: Dancing Under the Picasso (at the Daley Center), Chicago SummerDance (at Grant Park), September Unity Month (at the Irving Park YMCA), Eli's Cheesecake Festival (at Eli's Cheesecake Home Office), and Ravinia Festival.

Since 1996, DanceMates Educational Arts, NFP instructors has been successful and highly-supported by the general public in delivering ongoing dance education programs in the following arts education locations and schools: Truman College (phone number 773-907-4440), Irving Park YMCA (773-777-7500), Gallery 37 (312-742-8497), Harold Washington College (312-553-5940), Latin School of Chicago (312-573-4698), and Wright College (773-481-8914 or 773-481-8812). DanceMates Educational Arts, NFP Officers, Board of Directors, and instructors are highly certified, highly endorsed, and highly respected by its partners and City agencies. A DanceMates instructor has at least a Bachelor's Degree in any field and has at least 10 years of professional experience in any field. Its Master Dance Instructor, Norman Viray, has been recognized by the City of Chicago as Continuing Education Lecturer of the Year 2001 (awarded in Harold Washington College).

DanceMates Educational Arts, NFP's goal for the next 4 years in the Chicagoland area is to provide and establish low-cost dance education programs for youth, teens, adults, and seniors (the general public). Hence, the help of Federal, State, Local government agencies, Private & Public foundations, Estates, and donors from families and individuals are greatly appreciated.
