BLACKBIRD POND VOTED BY NEW YORK CROWD AND WON THE FIRST ROUND OF THE INSIDE CONNECTION MAGAZINES TOURING 495 ULTIMATE BAND SEARCH.

Blackbird Pond performed, awed the crowd, and won at first round of TOURING 495, Ultimate Band Search.

With no more than four people with them from Virginia Beach, Blackbird Pond should not have won the first round of contest because it was by crowd participation. However, Blackbird Ponds undeniable talent won them the crowd and the competition. The crowd composed of followers of the other 3 acts that competed against Blackbird Pond. By the end of the night, Blackbird Pond made new friends that cant get enough of their music. Blackbird Pond will be competing again on the second round of the Touring 495 Ultimate Band Search, which is scheduled for January of 2004.

Blackbird Pond is a five-member all original rock band from Virginia. Mix the sexy look of Jennifer Lopez, the freight-train howler of Tina Turner, and the frenzy presence of Mick Jagger with the sophistication of Robert Plant and you described only one part of Blackbird Pond.
