(PRWEB) August 11, 2003 -- One of three Hispanic freshmen in the Georgia Legislature, Senator Sam Zamarripa will be among the featured speakers at the upcoming Global People Skills conference.

Organized in partnership with Georgia State Universitys J. This is our third year of presenting the Global People Skills conference in Atlanta", said Brandau in a recent interview, and it promises to be our best yet. With the GSU partnership and the participation of popular speakers such as Senator Zamarripa, who have real, hands-on international and multi-ethnic business experience, the attendees are in for a true learning feast."

Sam Zamarripa was elected to the Georgia State Senate in 2002, representing District 36. In addition, he is a Founder and Managing Partner of Diaz-Verson Ventures, LLC, an investment-banking services firm. He is a Co-Founder and Director of United Americas Bank, N.A., where he currently serves as the Chairman of the Marketing Committee. At the 2003 Global People Skills conference, Sam Zamarripa will be addressing The Economic Strength of Ethnicity". A born entrepreneur, coalition builder and community leader, Zamarripa firmly believes that globalization is here to stay". It will not go away", he told an international audience at DeVry University earlier this year, so, we had better all learn how to behave, how to communicate and how to do business in this multi-national, multi-cultural and multi-ethnic world, using our growing diversity as a strength for economic growth."
