New X10 RF receiver for computers

New product announcement for a receiver that accepts X10 RF signals and connects to a computer.

This enables low cost X10 transmitters that include hand held remotes, key chain, security devices and motion sensors to initiate most any event including home automation applications.

The W800RF32 was designed to replace X10s ageing MR26A PC receiver. The design goal was to offer a new product that incorporates the latest technology in RF receiver design then couple this to an antenna that would out perform the MR26A. An additional benefit is that the W800RF32 is a true 32-bit device. This enables users to now for the first time, to connect security devices such as the DS10A to their home automation computers.

The W800RF32 comes in two versions. One with a built in antenna priced at $49.75. The other is an external antenna package at $74.75. This version comes complete with a quarter wave whip antenna, 12 feet of RG6 coaxial cable, connecting cable and power supply.
