ETI Begins Web-Based GD&T Training

Effective Training's new ETI Learning Center offers courses in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and ASME Standard-related concepts. The first course is the GM Addendum, which teaches the GM Global Dimensioning and Tolerancing Addendum.

WESTLAND, MI (PRWEB) August 11, 2003 - Effective Training Inc. (ETI) adds web-based training to their extensive list of GD&T products and services. The new ETI Learning Center (http://www.etilearn.com) provides online training in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and ASME Standard-related courses for design, manufacturing, quality, and industrial engineering students and professionals.

The first e-learning course is the GM Addendum. It includes a description of the GM Global Dimensioning and Tolerancing Addendum used in the auto industry, with an in-depth look at the major areas of impact the Addendum has on drawings that use the ASME Y14.5M-1994 interpretation of dimensioning and tolerancing. The course also points out differences between the GM, Ford, and Chrysler GD&T addendums.

"Students can take the course online at home or at work through a series of interactive lessons," said Alex Krulikowski, noted educator and author of GD&T training books and software. "Web-based training allows ETI to offer another convenient GD&T training method to our customers, whether individual students or large corporations." Krulikowski is the founder and president of Effective Training.

Over the next year, ETI will offer two more online classes: GD&T Fundamentals and a GD&T overview.
