Eze Castle Software clients conquer 2003 Russell rebalancing with list trading tools and STP technology

Eze Castle Software (ECS), a leading provider of order management software (OMS), provides the Straight Through Processing (STP) technology that clients need to automate the trading process and reduce the time spent working orders.

Boston, MA (PRWEB) August 11, 2003 - Eze Castle Software (ECS), a leading provider of order management software (OMS), provides the Straight Through Processing (STP) technology that clients need to automate the trading process and reduce the time spent working orders. During the recent 2003 Russell rebalance season, ECS clients processed thousands of trades during the last hours of the trading days with enhanced list trading and STP technology.

Traders Console, ECS's OMS, combines list trading functionality with FIX connectivity to over 130 execution destinations and end-of-day trade data transfers to back office systems and custodians, providing clients with a streamlined STP environment. During the Russell Rebalance, ECS clients used this technology to import list trades, create waves, and send list orders via FIX to various brokers. All trading activity was monitored and managed directly in Traders Console. Once all trades were finalized, Eze Castle Software's data transfer service, Tradewinds, managed the secure data transfers to clients' back office systems, custodians, and administrators.

General Motors Asset Management is one Eze Castle Software client who successfully completed the Russell rebalance using Eze Castle Software technology. "We needed to process thousands of trades in a short time period during this year's Russell rebalance. We imported lists from Excel spreadsheets downloaded from our analytic system, created multiple waves, and sent them directly to our brokers using FIX," says George Bodine, Director of Trading. "Once trading was complete, Eze Castle electronically transferred all trade data to our back office systems and custodians. This combination of technology significantly reduced the time necessary to successfully complete the trading cycle and virtually eliminated trade errors that are typical on high volume days."

Eze Castle Software's list trading functionality was introduced over two years ago and continues to grow in popularity among clients. "Clients are demanding more flexibility for electronically trading multiple lists with multiple waves to multiple brokers using the FIX protocol. We continuously work with our clients to enhance this functionality in order to meet their needs," says David Quinlan, President of Eze Castle Software.

Eze Castle Software has witnessed the growth in electronic list trading firsthand. Since the beginning of 2003, the number Eze Castle Software clients using FIX-enabled list trading functionality has increased over 30 percent.
