Forest Lawn to Host Nearly 1,000 Los Angeles Area Youth As They Join Thousands In The United States in 2003 Pledge Across America
(PRWEB) August 12, 2003 -- What: Pledge Across America" an event held jointly with Forest Lawn and Celebration USA designed to encourage united, patriotic observances for students nationwide and sets the stage for year-long instruction on citizenship, American principles, and American history.
On September 17, 2003, Constitution Day, students across the United States will participate in a national synchronized Pledge of Allegiance led by President Bush. This event will emphasize the abilities and accomplishments of our youth as Americas future leaders, pay tribute to and recognize the contributions of our educators, and focus on the meaning of indivisible" for all Americans: a people, united with the common bond of freedom.
This free event is part of Forest Lawns exciting series of educational programs designed to support curriculum goals and provide interactive experiences for Los Angeles area youth.
When: September 17, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
Pledge of Allegiance is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
