MRS. NORTH CAROLINA PREPARES TO CAPTURE MRS AMERICA CROWN
Mrs. North Carolina America 2003, Shannon Devine of Hickory, will compete for the title of Mrs. America in Honolulu, Hawaii on September 19th. She begins her quest September 5th.
Mrs. North Carolina, Shannon Devine of Hickory, will depart September 5th on the trip of a lifetime. She will be heading to Honolulu, Hawaii to compete for the title of Mrs. America 2003. The Mrs. America pageant will take place at the Hilton Hawaiian Village on September 19th and will be televised on the PAX TV Network on October 11th from 8-10 p.m.
Devine, the wife of Jason Devine, is very excited about the trip and is ready to go. Her family and friends are planning a huge luau send-off party later this month at Lake Hickory. I am very blessed to have so much support, she says. Once Im in Hawaii, I hope to meet each and every contestant and find out something about everyone and bring the Mrs. America title back to North Carolina with me!"
The winner of the coveted Mrs. America crown will make personal appearances throughout the country during her yearıs reign, speaking to and for our countryıs Greatest Natural Resource and most important constituency -- its married women. The new Mrs. America will also represent the United States in the "MRS. WORLD PAGEANT," the television special seen around the world and televised in primetime on the PAX TV Network. Together, these shows comprise the largest pageant system of its genre in the world.
