The problems created under his watch in California are so vast and substantial; one can't begin to describe them in a sound byte. The budget deficit in California is so large and the ramifications of the deficit to the people of California are so great that nothing short of extraordinary leadership and vision are needed to tackle the problem. Career politicians like Davis can't see the forest for the trees and aren't capable of taking the bold, decisive steps to correct the problem.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is a man of vision and is making a dramatic sacrifice of his career to serve the people of California. In addition to his successful film career, he has spent much time championing the needs of children through the President's Council of Physical Fitness as well as through many other causes. He realizes that bold, decisive action needs to be taken today to save today's children from inheriting California's current budget crisis. The theme of "saving the world for the children", which resonates through all 3 Terminator films, resonates in his current campaign and explains why he is focusing his energies on becoming the next Governor of California. Arnold will be the people's choice for Governor and will provide leadership for the people that is sorely lacking with the current Governor, Gray Davis.
