Two sisters team up and combine talents to produce a different style of books.
Autumn Rose Publishing LLC, a new independent publishing company, was developed when two sisters decided to combine their talents in achieving a common goal: providing wholesome yet intriguing books for readers. Their efforts paid off when their first book hit the presses this summer.
August, 2003 -- When Lynnita Mattock began writing her second book, Silent Flight, Devoted Pursuit, she wanted to find a publisher who shared her goal: provide readers with wholesome yet intriguing books. She didnt have to search far. Her sister, Lorraine, had been wanting to start up a business, and it wasnt long before Autumn Rose Publishing LLC was sending its first book, Silent Flight, Devoted Pursuit, to the printer.
Despite noisy business meetings with sassy exchanges, disagreements, and tears of laughter mixed with exhaustion, the sisters have developed an independent publishing company devoted to putting out good books. Lorraine uses her technical skills to develop websites, forums, and graphic art displays; Lynnita writes, rewrites, and edits her books to bring about the level of quality in which they both believe. Both have taken on the task of developing marketing plans, advertising strategies, and sales.
Autumn Rose Publishing LLC is named for their mother who taught them the power of prayer, to never give up, and chocolate makes everything better. The companys website is www.AutumnRosePublishing.com.
In Silent Flight, Devoted Pursuit two sisters also team up but for a different reason. They are trying to find their missing Aunt Beverly who disappeared while they were vacationing in Australia. Cutting their trip short, Caroline and Kate return to the States and discover strangers occupying their aunts beloved home. Aunt Beverly is nowhere to be found. Their frantic search for her leads them into the mysterious world of the homeless and to a waiflike little girl whose young life is pitted with neglectful parents, homelessness, and the brutal consequences of a fire.
In their efforts to find their aunt, the sisters discover a tangled network of deceit and greed where ruthless men are stealing homes, money, and self-respect from guileless people. Her desperate desire to seek retribution throws Caroline into a maze of controversy where only an innocent child, a woman carrying a Bible, and a man with tragedy of his own can break her free.
This book is hard to put down and will give the reader an exhilarating read. Visit www.FromTheAuthorToYou.com for excerpts.
