ENID CEO JACK BALDWIN ACHIEVES FINALIST RANKING FOR ERNST & YOUNG'S ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR® AWARD

Oklahoma CEO Jack Baldwin recently earned a coveted finalist ranking in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® Award program. Baldwin, along with other finalists and award recipients from the Southwest region, was recognized during a June awards ceremony in Dallas.

(PRWEB) August 14, 2003 -- The Entreprenueur of the Year award was created by Ernst & Young to recognize outstanding individuals on a regional, national and ultimately global level. All the winners are selected by a panel of independent judges comprised of local community and business leaders.

Baldwin has a long and successful history of developing technology products and services for the voice and data call center-management industries. He launched VoiceLogger from its parent company CadCom in January 2001 after realizing an increasing demand for voice documentation and recording. VoiceLogger's premier product, digivoiceXE, is a secure browser-based application which integrates with a customer's network to record and store radio and telephone communications.

Baldwin began his entrepreneurial career in 1981 by purchasing a telephone answering service business in Enid, OK. In 1995, Baldwin purchased CadCom, a supplier of specialized call management and answering systems, moved CadCom to Enid and gave his company, Communications Services, the new name of CadCom Telesystems, Inc. VoiceLogger is one of four corporations that were conceived, incubated and spun-off into separate organizations from CadCom in recent years.

VoiceLogger was inducted into the Oklahoma Technology and Commercialization Center's Million Dollar Hall of Fame in April 2001.

In 2002, Baldwin was appointed to Governor Frank Keating's Science and Technology Council. In February 2003, VoiceLogger was named one of the nine fast track technology companies to present its story and product to the Southwest Oklahoma Capital Conference held in Tulsa.
