Triangle Next Stop in National Advertising Road Show
(PRWEB) August, 2003 -- Robert Acquaotta, Advertising Director for the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) will be in Raleigh on September 18th to present a nationally traveling Cross Media Optimization Study (XMOS).
By including the Triangle in its national tour, the IAB recognizes the growing importance the corporate community gives to interactive marketing. Cities in the IAB study tour include: Boston, Atlanta, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
XMOS, the largest cross-media study conducted to date, was initiated to discover the optimal media mix a company needs to achieve its marketing goals.
The findings show the value of interactive marketing as part of a companys overall marketing mix," says Amy Boaz, a board member of the Triangle Interactive Marketing Association (TIMA). Ultimately the study proves that when you include interactive in your advertising campaign, it can increase the effectiveness of your results."
Boaz believes that the presentation is vital for area business owners and marketing firms because its a roadmap for how to effectively increase marketing ROI even in a down economy.
A roster of internationally known companies, including McDonalds, Dove, Universal Home Video, AOL TimeWarner, Google, Yahoo!, iVillage, and Walt Disney Internet Group, participated in the study Acquaotta will present.
In addition to serving on the IAB board, Acquaotta has more than 20 years experience in the advertising industry. Most notably he was the Director of Advertising Sales for Americanbaby.com and also worked for Sesame Street on both its magazine and website.
TIMA is hosting the Raleigh IAB Cross Media Optimization Study tour stop, and will promote the presentation as one of its quarterly interactive marketing seminars. The venue for the IAB presentation will be finalized prior to the event, and attendees will be notified. Current TIMA members can attend the event is free. Non-members can attend for $20, or gain free entrance if they buy a one-year TIMA membership at the door for $50.
