UNITED JEWISH COMMUNITIES APPOINTS ROBERT NABOICHECK TO
2004 NATIONAL CAMPAIGN EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
West Hartford, Conn (PRWEB) August 18, 2003 -- The Jewish United Jewish Communities (UJC) today announced the appointment of Robert Naboicheck, chairman of the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford, as a new member of the UJC 2004 National Campaign Executive Committee.
Robert is an outstanding and passionate Jewish leader with a considerable record of service and accomplishment throughout the Greater Hartford area, and he will play an integral role in the success of the 2004 UJA Federation Campaign," said Stephen Selig, UJC national campaign chair. He truly understands the urgent needs of the Jewish community, here at home, in Israel, and elsewhere overseas."
National Campaign Executive Committee members draw on their local and national experience and accomplishments to support, counsel and exchange ideas with campaign chairs throughout the Jewish federation system to ensure the growth and success of federation campaigns.
Naboicheck, who resides in Hartford, Conn., presently serves as chairman of the board, is the past president and past campaign chair of the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford. He has also served as president and chairman of Hartford's Hebrew Home and Hospital, which his grandmother helped establish. On the national level, he co-chaired the UJC 2003 Campaign Chairmen and Directors Mission to Israel, and is a former member of the UJC National Young Leadership Cabinet.
The national campaign chair chooses UJC National Campaign Executive Committee members. Besides having served in senior leadership positions within their own communities, they have also served as advocates on behalf of UJC and the Jewish Federations of North America.
