SST Incorporated has announced the release of TracePlus®/Web Detective (eBusiness Edition). The application is a high-resolution performance analysis and HTTP diagnostic tool specifically designed for Web development.

August 15, 2003 - SST Incorporated has announced the release of TracePlus®/Web Detective (eBusiness Edition). The application is a performance analysis and diagnostic tool specifically designed for Web development. It analyzes the HTTP and HTTPS protocols used by an application and provides performance and diagnostic information.

Understands SOAP, WebDAV, DASL, and Delta-V protocols. Complete object request and response headers can be viewed in realtime. Communications via Java applets, Javascript, and VBScript is supported.

All statistics are reported with microsecond timing accuracy. Graphical comparison of server load and response time is available as well as comparison of object sizes and download times. TracePlus can measure connect time from application to server and DNS lookup times.
