CLOSE ENOUGH TO PERFORM WITH JEFFERSON STARSHIP AT THE COACH HOUSE SEPTEMBER 20th

Orange County rock band, Close Enough has just been signed to appear with rock legends and Hall of Fame inductees Jefferson Starship, featuring original Jefferson Airplane members Marty Balin and Paul Kantner, at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano September 20th.

Laguna Hills, CA (PRWEB) August 17, 2003 --- Its not the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but its close enough, just ask the members of Close Enough, Orange Countys favorite classic rock band. The band has just been signed to appear with rock legends and Hall of Fame inductees Jefferson Starship, featuring original Jefferson Airplane members Marty Balin and Paul Kantner, at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano September 20th.

The Jefferson Airplane epitomized the San Francisco scene of the mid-to-late Sixties. The band formally evolved into Jefferson Starship in 1974, achieving considerably more commercial success in the Seventies than the Airplane had known in the previous decade.

Close Enough formed a few years ago, and is based in Laguna Hills. Its five regular members, John Christeck (lead guitar and vocals), Doug Clemons (rhythm guitar and vocals), Fred Robbins (bass guitar), Mark Pryor (drums and vocals) and Gary Heil (trumpet and vocals), will be joined at the Coach House with featured singer, Adrena Lynn.

Were truly thrilled to be asked to open for Jefferson Starship," said Doug Clemons, rhythm guitar and co-founder of Close Enough. When you think of the Sixties sound and original rock and roll, the Airplane and Jefferson Starship are at the top of the heap," Clemons continued. Close Enough performs classic rock, pop, R&B, and soul hits from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s.

If we have a following, its because of the music we play and the way we deliver it," added Mark (Bones) Pryor, drummer for the band. We concentrate on getting our audience moving, either on the dance floor or in their seats."
