Illinois Woman's Story to appear in Cup Of Comfort For Christmas
An essay by Maureen Blevins of Joliet, Illinois, will appear in the newest Cup of Comfort Book, out this October.
JOLIET, IL -- August 18, 2003. An essay by Maureen Blevins, a lifelong Joliet resident, was recently accepted for publication in the newest 'Cup of Comfort book. Her story, centered around one of her traditional Slovak family Christmas gatherings, will apear in 'A Cup Of Comfort For Christmas, the latest offering in the Cup of Comfort Anthologies. It will be available at bookstores nationwide this October.
Getting published is really hard work, believe it or not, so I am always excited when my work is accepted. Its wonderful to be a part of such a successful book series." Ms. Blevins, who uses the name Mauverneen Blevins professionally, is a local freelance writer/photographer who recently introduced a line of note cards featuring some of her award-winning photography.
